The Author
Ella M. B. Smith is a 21 year old author, based in Wellington, New Zealand. She published her first novel at 19, and now works as a barista while being an author. She has been storytelling as long as she can remember, and if her head isn't buried in a book then it is up in the clouds. She writes so other's don't feel alone.
Author's Note
'Kiss Me if You're Scared' was my debut novel, written in 2019 and published in 2023. Now with my second novel 'Everything Else is Quiet' out and available, I thought I'd mention how I've gotten here. My second novel is very different than 'Kiss Me if You're Scared', and I love both so much. 'Kiss Me if You're Scared' will always be my first, and I'll always be proud of teenage me for persisting and publishing, however I am super excited to share my new book, now that I know how to!
'Everything Else is Quiet' is a love letter to my friends, life, and myself. I just felt I had a lot to say on the matter, and I hope you love it as much as I do. See you there!
